The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner, Tolzien completed 194-of-266 passes for 2,459 yards and 16 touchdowns. His 165.92 quarterback rating in 2010 placed him sixth nationally and first in the Big Ten. He guided Wisconsin to an 11-2 season, achieving the Badgers' first Big Ten title since 1999 and a berth in the Rose Bowl. With Tolzien leading the offense, Wisconsin topped 70 points three times and 30 points ten times in 2010. The team captain and two-year starter was a Second Team All-Big Ten honoree.
