Solomon Wilcots to Deliver Keynote at 43rd NFF Cincinnati Chapter Scholar-Athlete Banquet

Solomon Wilcots, CBS analyst and a former Bengals player, will be the keynote speaker. Wilcots started two years at cornerback at Colorado, earning All-Big Eight honors in his senior year as the team captain. He also played in the NFL with the Vikings and the Steelers during his six year pro-career. The award is based on the accumulation of points in football achievements, academic achievement and extracurricular and community activities. The award will be announced at the scholar-athlete dinner. The finalists for the Ohio award: Will Carroll, St. Xavier; Chris Cooper, Turpin; Kevin Cripe, Anderson; Jeff Elam, Batavia; Lucien Kidd, North College Hill; Ben Leahy, Monroe; Harry Meisner, Wyoming; Branden Nelson, Aiken; Andrew Perkins, CHCA; Alex Savage, Lakota West; Matt Shamp, Badin and Casey Vatter of Ross. The finalists for the Northern Kentucky award: Austin Collinsworth, Highlands; Tate Nichols, Ryle; Wes Smith, Dixie Heights and Nick West of Conner. The Anthony Munoz Foundation will present its Offensive Lineman and Defensive Lineman of the Year awards. The Marvin Lewis Community Fund will present its Coach of the Year Award.
