Member Biography
When David Williams finished his three-year collegiate career at Illinois, he was the second-leading receiver in NCAA history with 245 receptions and 3,195 yards. A two-time unanimous All-America selection (1984-85), Williams led the NCAA in receptions (101) and receiving yards (1,278) in 1984. Williams burst into the national spotlight in 1983, leading the Fighting Illini to a perfect 10-0 regular season record and a birth in the Rose Bowl. After two seasons in the NFL (1986-87), Williams starred in the CFL, where he was named a five-time all-star and league MVP (1988). He currently works in sales and lives in Cardena, California.
