Member Biography
Pat Sullivan had three superb seasons as Auburn quarterback.
As a sophomore, he broke the school records for total offense
and passing yardage. As a junior, he broke them again and
was named Most Valuable Player in the Southeastern
Conference. In his senior season, 1971, he was unanimous
All-America and won the Heisman Trophy. When his career
ended, he held 24 school records. In his three years, he
passed for 53 touchdowns and ran for 18. His total of
touchdowns responsible for, 71, was an NCAA record at the
time. Sullivan played four years in the National Football
League.
