What:

The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame will announce the 2018 College Football Hall of Fame Class live during SportsCenter on ESPN.

Who:

At least one member of the new class will join SportsCenter host Kevin Negandhi on set to represent the 10 players and three coaches who have been selected as members of the 2018 class. (Click here for the 75 All-America players and six coaches on the ballot from the Football Bowl Subdivision and the 98 All-America players and 31 coaches from the divisional ranks.) Several of the new inductees will also participate in the pregame festivities and coin toss before the College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship on Jan. 8 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga.

When:

Monday, Jan. 8, during SportsCenter at 9 a.m. EST
The class will be announced between 9:30 and 10 a.m. EST

Where:

Live on ESPN during SportsCenter

How:
Watch live on ESPN or by clicking here to watch through the ESPN app

Why:
Capture the emotion of the new College Football Hall of Famers as they express what it means to be recognized among the greatest coaches and players in the history of the game. Of the 5.26 million individuals who have played college football since Princeton first battled Rutgers on Nov. 6, 1869, only 1,201 champions of the gridiron (987 players and 214 coaches) have been immortalized in the Hall. In other words, only two one-hundredths of a percent (.02%) of those who have played the game have been deemed worthy of the honor.
